This is my secret to stress management – nothing is as difficult, scary, or overwhelming as it initially seems if you tackle it one small step at a time. Just like the best way to get through a horrible day is hour-by-hour, the best way to get through a horrible task is bit-by-bit. And the best way to get through a week (horrible or otherwise) is day-by-day.
You never know what will happen tomorrow, so concentrate wholly and attentively on producing a fantastic today. Whatever will happen, will happen. No matter how bad today is, tomorrow will always come. Then, before you know it, you’re at Friday and have made it through a whole week.
Take the time to congratulate yourself for your week of achievements, and make sure to reward yourself this weekend.
